What we do

Bathroom and kitchen plumbing in Aberdeen and Aberdeenshire.

Most domestic plumbing jobs in Aberdeen are small but urgent — a tap that won't stop dripping, a toilet that runs all night, a shower that's lost pressure, a leak under the kitchen sink. We come out, diagnose, quote, and fix it. No call-out charge. We carry the common parts on the van so most jobs get finished on the first visit.

Common jobs we do

  • Dripping taps in the kitchen or bathroom
  • Toilet running constantly or won't flush properly
  • Weak shower pressure or no hot water at the shower
  • Leak under a sink, bath, or behind a toilet
  • Shower screen or bath silicone going mouldy and needs redoing
  • Old taps need swapping for new ones
  • Washing machine or dishwasher plumbing fitted or moved
  • Outdoor tap fitted or repaired

What we do

How a Belmont visit usually runs.

  1. 1Phone diagnosis first — most jobs we can quote roughly on the call
  2. 2Come out, identify the actual fault (not always what you think it is)
  3. 3Quote the fix before starting any work
  4. 4Fix on the day where parts are standard
  5. 5Order non-standard parts and come back if needed
  6. 6Re-silicone, clean down, leave the area tidy
  7. 7Test everything before we leave

Frequently asked

Questions we get asked about bathroom and kitchen plumbing.

Why does my toilet keep running?
Usually a failed flush valve or a worn fill valve. Both are quick fixes — typically half an hour on site once we've got the right parts in the van. Worth fixing fast because a running toilet wastes a serious amount of water.
Why is my shower pressure low?
Could be a blocked shower head, a failing thermostatic cartridge, low system pressure, or a pump that's gone if you have one. We'll work down the list and find which it is.
Can you re-silicone a bath or shower?
Yes. We strip out the old silicone, clean and dry the joint properly, and apply mould-resistant silicone. Done right it lasts years; done quickly and badly it fails in months. We don't do the quick-and-bad version.
Do you fit kitchen taps?
Yes — supply only, or supply and fit. Mixer taps, pull-out sprays, hot taps, instant boiling taps. Tell us the kitchen layout and we'll quote.
Can you sort a leak under the sink?
Yes. Most are a failed compression nut, a knackered washer, or a perished waste seal. Quick fix on site for most of them.
Do you charge a call-out fee?
No call-out charge. You pay for the work done, not for the van turning up.
